Today I went to an art museum for a skoo field trippish sort of thing and wore a very monochromatic boring sort of outfit. I felt a small bit slobbish because I had just worn this shirt on Wednesday, but only for like an hour and a half and then I hung it back up (because I'm gross, or awesome, you choose).
Do you ever notice that people turn into giant wuss-faces when it starts to rain? You know, those women that have to wait in the doorway at a restaurant while their husbands bring the car around so they don't have to get wet, or those people who dash about madly in the drizzle holding backpacks or books over their heads as if it were lava and not small drops of water....
...yeah, those.
So apparently all of my classmates were like that. They started to shriek and run for cover immediately upon exiting the museum and noticing that it was raining. I rather like walking in the rain, personally. I prefer taking off my shoes and jumping around in the outdoor art exhibits in the rain EVEN MORE.
I take my shoes off, of course, because no one wants wet ballet flats. But then you're stuck with a wet skirt for the hour long car ride home.
